This is similar to the tutorial I did on gradients, but also tricker. It. is a gradient based on the saturation effect.
Here I've taken a colorful autumn forest path which I placed a saturation gradient on so that the bottom right corner turned to black and white. Then I blended an image of a cityscape in the dull black and white portion. Kinda my feelings about an experience back at home, some trails I usually like hiking through is having a ton of residential rennovation done, so its not as natural as it once was. This image is invoking my feelings on that progress. Also, the image looks cool.
