Reflection
This writing course has taught me a lot when it comes to both my writing style and how to communicate in unique ways. I've spent most of my life not taking care in how I've communicated the message but rather if I've communicated the message. This is problematic since the very reason I might not be able to get my message across is because I'm using the wrong medium. I've seen how choosing a different approach can bring so much more engagement and therefore have greater impact. Moving forward, I want to scope out these mediums as part of my brainstorming process. As I mentioned in my interactive project report, exposure to these resources can often spark new ideas that one normally wouldn't have though of.

Some of the projects have also highlighted some bad writing practices that I've developed in the past few years, which is excessive wordiness. I'm not sure how or when I began writing like this, but catching it now has allowed me to think more carefully about what I choose to write. So, I've practiced making my writing more concise and placed a higher importance on the revision and peer review process. Because of this shift in attitude, I could fix a couple of important projects I had been working on outside the class. As this quarter comes to a close, I will carry these new habits and perspectives into my future work.
