Illustrator Tutorial (Bubbles)

I wanted to learn how to make interesting bubbles since I want to put information inside bubbles for my project. I referred to the following tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MiKx6yO4Eg

My favorite part is how the bubbles "glisten". I used the direct selection tool to squash an ellipse shape, then applied gaussian blue. As for the bubbles, these were made with circles and messing with the gradient values.
