Here is what I made for the first illustrator tutorial. I followed along with what we did in class, and ended up forming this. I used the text tool to spell out my initials and got a nice thick font. Then, I played around with the shapes, like the ellipse and rectangle tools. I thought it looked cool having a rounded rectangle behind the letters like that. Then, I used the star tool continuously to get this sun shaped pattern around the main circle. Also, These colors came from the "ancient" color swatch, which I really liked.
